Back in Italy, he has toured with three of the country’s major pop artists: Rkomi, Irama and Elettra Lamborghini.

The studio

Foligno, Umbria
Studio 86

A recording and mixing studio in the green heart of Italy. Medieval Foligno at the door, Assisi twenty minutes away, the Umbrian hills all around. Built for artists who want to disappear into a record: long days tracking, then Norcia truffle, Montefalco wine and Spello olive oil, all from a few kilometres away.

“Every corner of Studio 86 was designed to feel balanced, technically precise, yet emotionally warm. I wanted to create a space that feels as peaceful as it is professional, a true reflection of music as both art and energy.”

Introducing Studio 86

an exceptional new recording studio in Foligno, Umbria, founded by international drummer and audio engineer Francesco Lucidi. A fully equipped, zen-inspired space now hosting recordings, workshops, and masterclasses. Studio 86 combines world-class sound with a deeply soulful environment.

After years of performing and recording internationally, including a long career in London’s vibrant music scene, Francesco returned to his native Italy to create a space that blends precision, creativity, and peace. The result is Studio 86: a zen-inspired environment, built entirely with love and artistic intent.

Located in the charming, medieval town of Foligno, Studio 86 is exceptional both aesthetically and aurally. Built for sound and serenity, it exudes a creative energy from the moment you step inside.

Lucidi’s impressive career spans work with leading artists across Europe, including as drummer for RKOMI, Italy’s number one pop act. His international experience and deep musical sensibility inform every aspect of Studio 86, from its world-class acoustics to its soulful atmosphere.

“Every corner of Studio 86 was designed to feel balanced, technically precise, yet emotionally warm. I wanted to create a space that feels as peaceful as it is professional, a true reflection of music as both art and energy.” Francesco Lucidi, Founder of Studio 86
